Our Story
While establishing our clinic, a lot of thought went into our treatment philosophy, which forms the basis for our professional yet empathetic treatment approach. And with regard to our pride of the Egyptian civilization and our gratitude for its positive influence and achievements throughout the ages.
Our clinic has been named SWNW Osteopathy by Dr. Karim El Arabi, the founder of the clinic as well as a highly competent osteopath and physical therapist in Egypt.
In ancient times, Egyptians were one of the first civilizations to begin collecting and recording medical knowledge and subsequently excel at healing practices. They uncovered a vast amount of medical knowledge that helped cure diseases and improve the quality of life. Ancient Egyptians excelled in medical practices, and their medical knowledge has provided the basis for many of the modern treatment procedures still performed today.
It is fair to say that the ancient Egyptians were the original healers, and today at SWNW Osteopathy, we want to keep their healing alive and further excel at it by providing our patients with the utmost satisfactory results, by our osteopathic medicine/therapy.
‘SWNW’ is the Ancient Egyptian word for a ‘Doctor’. As they had specialized doctors and recognized the healing powers of certain physical works and exercises. Their passion for healing is inspirational and relevant to this date and given our treatment philosophy and what we do here at SWNW Osteopathy, it is appropriate that our clinic is named after ancient Egyptian healers. Since we focus on detecting, treating, and preventing health problems, and we strive to provide optimum welfare for every human to help them reach their maximum potential by having healthy bodies.
