Our clinic, SWNW Osteopathy, was founded by Dr. Karim El Arabi. He is well versed in treating musculoskeletal injuries as well as more complicated visceral disorders that often lead to a variety of diverse symptoms, including those of the locomotive system.
Dr. Karim is experienced in complex case management ranging from mild, chronic, and acute cases of sports injuries, physical trauma, burns, neurological, autoimmune, musculoskeletal, chest, and visceral disorders, and pre and post-surgical management, and rehabilitation cases, with a diverse clientele including pediatric, adolescent, adult, older patients, and pre and post pregnancy women. He employs a holistic approach while devising treatment plans to improve or restore functional capacity and mitigate the advancement of disability for diseased or injured patients.
Dr. Karim El Arabi completed his undergraduate degree, bachelor of science in physical therapy, from October 6 University in Egypt, he then attained a professional Postgraduate Diploma in Healthcare and Hospital Management from the School of Business at the American University in Cairo. After that, he continued his education and concluded his MSc in Osteopathy in September 2015 at the British School of Osteopathy, University College of Osteopathy, UK. His latest academic pursuit is a Professional Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) in sports injuries from Cairo University, Egypt, in affiliation with Winston-Salem State University, North Carolina, USA.

Orthopedics and Sports Injuries, Burns and reconstruction, respiratory medicine, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Cardiology and ICU, Neurology, Geriatrics, Pediatrics, Pediatrics Surgery, Special Pediatrics, and Special Neurology.
After completing his diverse training in multiple institutes and departments, Dr. Karim started his professional journey as a Physical Therapist & Rehabilitation Specialist at Kuwait Physical Therapist Centre, Cairo. He has since consistently served as a trainer physiotherapist for several years, primarily working on the evaluation, designing, and planning of ‘Physical Therapy programs: Orthopedic and Neurological Physical Therapy’ at the Kuwait Physical Therapy Centre in Cairo. He has also worked as an osteopath in Osteopathy Centre, Cairo, Egypt, since 2015. Additionally, he has been working as a Senior Physical Therapist & Rehabilitation Specialist in Egyptair Hospital, Cairo, Egypt, for several years now.
In addition to writing multiple case studies, Dr. Karim has also authored a research dissertation titled “Management of Sports Injuries.”
Dr. Karim’s high-quality holistic care incorporates a unique, gentle, and hands-on approach to pain management. Dr. Karim has been practicing as a physiotherapist in Egypt for the last 20 years and despite having good results with his patients, he is consistently working towards further improving his treatment strategy through the experience and education he acquires every day while dealing with his diverse group of patients. He believes that there is always room for improvement and you never stop learning when you are in a field as his.
He works to further improve his treatment approach based on his experience and knowledge and by incorporating more holistic treatment strategies into his treatment plans. Moreover, he has acquired education in osteopathy, in addition to physiotherapy, to achieve the same goal and to be able to administer targeted treatment, in order to ensure that a state of homeostasis is maintained for his patients as best as possible.
Dr. Karim has extensive experience working in multiple departments, getting firsthand experience with complex cases. He has also attended several training workshops to further his professional career and hence obtained several certifications.
